As of July 1, 2025, Ultimesh has acquired the business activities of Altho B.V. from Zeewolde. With this acquisition, we are expanding our product range with a complete package of materials for the production of insect screens. A wonderful next step for both Ultimesh and the customers of Altho Insectscreens.

A grateful farewell

After 35 years of dedication to the insect screen industry, Ruud Thoomes, owner of Altho, has decided to retire. With great care he looked for a suitable successor for his company, and he found that in Ultimesh. We are proud to have gained his trust to continue his work.

During the transition period, Ruud will remain involved in the background to ensure a smooth handover.

What does this mean for Altho’s relationships?

For Altho’s existing customers, the changes are mainly administrative. All agreements, terms, and current orders will remain unchanged. The full inventory has also been taken over, ensuring deliveries and reservations continue without interruption.

What will change?

• New name: Altho will continue under the name Ultimesh
